I think you have the wrong attitude. Come up with a better name that is not registered.

The name of a web site is greatly over estimated, Stop pouting and whining, and start concentrating on what you can do to improve your situation.
If you can not find a better name - GIVE UP NOW because there are a thousand competitors that you have to be better than. you will not succeed on the net by posting cry baby remarks like " I came up with it first"

Lift your game! Point yourself in a more positive position.....

Farmfoods has been a brand in the UK for donkeys years.

And just as a very polite hint - think about how you word your posts please.

Dead easy - example - Farmfoodsfromnewyork

You still get your keyword up front plus you are adding a location.

I realize this isn't in any way helpful but once again, I simply can't resist such a golden opportunity.

Hi FarmFoods

This is why it pays to check the domain name is free prior to naming the website. ;)

On this thread, we are assuming your website is to be called Farm Foods. as ctabuk said, it is a modest chain frozen food store in the UK. That might be a bit David v Goliath (without the stones/slingshots). If not then a bit more info might be needed on your part.

If (assuming that farmfoods is your chosen name) your domain is taken, then go back to the drawing board and think of something a bit more compelling. I am sure you can come up with something better than Farm Foods which isn't that unique.

Hope this helps,

Move on. Think of another domain name you can use. It's not who's the first one to come up with the name; it's who register it first. That's one of the rules of the game.

That is so true! You can find an available domain, but if you mess around looking other domains while that one sits in your cart it could be snatched up before you check out.

Pretty funny. Do you think this whole thread was a joke? Seriously
why would you assume you're the only person on the planet who
thought of something.
When you're researching domain names with registrars, don't enter it
unless you're ready to buy it.
Don't build a business dependent on a name until you own it.
I still think the whole thread was meant tongue in cheek, at least I hope so
