hello,

a couple of days ago i got an enquery from a news company that they want to buy space on our website to present their newsitems which links to the news.

But how does this normally goes? Do people pay you pay per click or do they pay for the size of the advertisement, or is it dependable from the amount of page vieuws your website has?

I and nobody else in this company did this before so that's why i'm asking if somebody on this forum knows.

help is welcome, THANKS!

cheers

Hi

If you've got the volume of traffic and you know people will click through to read this news then I'd push for a CPC. If you have a high volume of users but think that click through will be minimal, then push for CPM. Or a combo of both.

Not knowing your site or the advertiser it's difficult to offer any solid advice :)

If they came to you, then I can imagine that they either have you marked as a high traffic site with potential, OR you already send them a fair amount of free traffic and they want to increase this by offering you a monetary incentive.

Hope some of this helps

Cheers

Chris
