Hi all,
I just spoke with a gentleman about buying a couple of his domains that are parked on GoDaddy.com. He was agreeable to my sale terms. Now I don't know what to do. How do we initiate a transfer of the domains? Do I have to stay with GoDaddy, or can I transfer them to the registrar that I always use? I've never transferred a domain, only bought new - so I have no idea where to go from here.
To add to the difficulty, the gentleman had a stroke last autumn and talking to him on the phone was very difficult. I don't know how capable he will be of performing the required transfer steps on his side of the deal.
Any thoughts or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
