Hi,
Any suggestions for a good, low initial cost affilate service to increase traffic to my site?
Has anyone used www.clixGalore.com and what has been your experience with them?
Thankyou.
Teresa

Hi Teresa,
Welcome to the forum. I have not worked with them so maybe someone else can give you some feedback. Have you looked at Sharesale? They only charge 150 set-up and have a very good reputation.
Anyone have any feedback on www.clixGalore.com for Teresa?

I'd also recommend Shareasale.com, solid system for the cost and has a good number of serious affiliates on the network.
Cheers

Hi teresasbargain,
I have not used ClixGalore to advertise an affiliate program, but I do use it to earn from merchant programs so I don't know exactly what it's like for the merchants.
One thing I can say is that ClixGalore must be quite good as they do have a lot of merchants listed with them.

I have had experience with CG as a merchant and as an affiliate
The one good thing is you can have a low level account at $0 setup.
On the negative side, unless you are spending big$ with them, expect nothing in the form of support....emails returned, phone messages returned.
The big advantage of going with a network for a merchant is access to a large pool of affiliates.
A secondary advantage is many super affiliates only deal with network merchants for assuredness of payment etc.

I'm using GDI and my team is getting good results.
Currently I'm only using free advertising resources
so all you have to pay is the monthly GDI fee of $10.

Hi,
If you want to keep costs down then I'd recommend setting up your own in house program. Then you don't have to worry about month costs.

Hi,
If you want to keep costs down then I'd recommend setting up your own in house program. Then you don't have to worry about month costs.
But the downside is the really good affiliates won't join it. Its the good affiliates that you want - 99% of affiliates are a total waste of time, so even to get one good performer can made a big difference.
