Im angry,

Just got my last settlement check from Paysystems and SURPRISE...Theres now a $2.50 misc charge (on top of all the discounts rates and other charges). I called them up and was informed that they now charge $2.50 to process cheques. One of the reasons I signed with these guys is they seemed like one of the best for low volume businesses like mine. Now it seems they are trying to put the squeeze on the little guys.

Apparently there is no charge to get direct deposit, but guess what - Thats not available outside the US and they won't commit in writing as to when it is available, was supposed to be ready by January 2004. They used to issue cheques out of Montreal and now they are out of New York. I suspect maybe they are consolidating to save more money. I'm keeping a close eye on these guys, not happy...

Anyone else with similar story I'd love to hear form you..Anyone else in Canada find a good e-payment provider?

Hello,

I worked with Paysystems for one year.
It is not a serious company. I signed on their website for a 4.95% rate then the contract was finally 5.5% When my account has been closed, they refused to initiate a wire for my funds release, asking me in a first time to wait for 6 months and nothing after.I am going to take a lawyer to solve the problem.

I worked with several merchant processing company and Paysystems is for me just a SWINDLER company.

Good advice : AVOID WORKING with them.

Yes,

Well since the time of this original post Paysystems has terminated all of their 3rd party agreements and left their customers with outstanding balances and no firm commitment to pay. Luckily I had the sense to switch to another provider before this happened but I was still left with several months of outstanding transactions unpaid.

Yes, they are swindlers and unfortunately it does look like legal action is the only remaining option.

They are still operating with dedicated merchant accounts now. Anyone else reading this thread, avoid them like the plague...
