Hi Members,
I tried submitting the press release for my site. And I did submitted the same press release in 20 Press Release sites.
After a week I found at least 40% of the press release sites have published my news.
And after 15days I was checking the backlink towards my site and to my utter surprise there was only one backlink from the press release, which I had submitted at the very beginning.
My question is, "DOES GOOGLE COUNT SAME PRESS RELEASE, SUBMITTED IN DIFFERENT PRESS RELEASE SITES AS SAME OR NOT?"
And if not then why I did not get those 40% links from Press Releases.
Kindly, advice.
Thanks in advance.

If only 40% of the websites actually published your press release, it could be that it is just too low quality. It can be difficult to generate a good press release unless you actually have something newsworthy to say.
Since Google has always just shown a sample of backlinks, it is not surprising that they only show one press release backlink. They may still be counting the other ones, but just not reporting them to the public.
Those links that Google does not report can still help your other rankings on other search engines. So submitting to multiple websites is not a waste of time.

In the world of publishing a 40% return is not bad.

my thought is :
search engine keep on crawl High quality PR sites and PRsites's home page's content fresh frequently. PR sites only feature excellent articles for a long time and others just a few minutes then replace by newest submited articles. so the articles which displayed short time and reviewed by few people will only listed for a short time by search engine?
it's just my guess , who can tell me more about it
thanks a lot!!

 Without link no benefit to your site.

I cannot see how GOOGLE will give your website credit for backlinks if there are no links to your website...

Are you sure that these PR submissions sites are all 'dofollow?' I realized that when I have done a research about dofollow PR sites. So be sure to check on it. Otherwise, all of your submissions will be but a futile exercise.
