I recently sat down with a fellow wanting a website. He wants to build an ecom site that is all affliates.

like www.shopping.com

All the products are fed from offsite, and the checkout process happens offsite. But he gets a commision on all products sold. So he needs an e-com package without the commerce.

Any suggestions? I know it can be coded from scratch, but I am curious if something like this may exisit that anyone is aware of? No need to re-invent the wheel :)

Any suggestions on a possible solution would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

When you say the products are fed from offsite, what format are they available in. Will you be using an include or xml feed or other type of integration into the site?

Well, it sounds like all you're really looking for is some type of directory. There's a million and one of them out there.

If php is a preferred flavour, you can start your search here (http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Link_Indexing/index.html)
