I don't like HTML newsletters of any kind and the one that WebProWorld.com uses is html heavy with tons of nested tables causing the email client to temporarily hang-up until it renders.

I would rather get one in a text version, but I have no idea of how to change that option or if it's even available.

Will someone who can answer this please answer this question.

I don't pretend to speak for the owners of this site.

However, I guess one answer is that as an alternative you can bookmark the "Page One" link above and unsubscribe to the HTML letter.

Personally, I prefer HTML newsletters for this type of information because it's easier to find the information and clickable URLS - my guess is that many others feel that way too.

Some newsletters are only available in text - one I pay for is available in your choice of formats if you have a paid subscription but only in text if you want the free version. It costs more in time and money to put out two versions, so I guess it's a decision the authors/publishers have a right to make.

You might want to send an Email or Private Message to one of the administrators...

Yes, the home page is being sent via email to me. I've tried about 6 times to unsubscribe before. It will not unsubscribe me from the list and there seems to be no control panel for the forum user to uncheck the newsletter.

I'd rather just view the home page via my browser and not get the home page emailed to me. Otherwise, send me a text version instead if possible. If not possible, remove me from getting the home page emailed to me everyday.

thiefware,

I will gladly unsubscribe you from the HTML version of WebProWorld; however, we do not have any plans for offering a text version of the newsletter any time soon.

Sorry about the inconvenience! I hope you will continue to participate in the forums, even though you won't be receiving the updates!
