For most companies and individuals this is true. The corporate environment is getting more and more aware of the importance of a Google Adwords account. Unfortunately for them it’s usually only Google itself that profits from these account. This happens not because Adwords doesn’t work but because its users don’t know how it works.
Furthermore, managing such an account requires a lot of time and knowledge about Adwords and this is not something everybody has. In the past (and present) this was done by internet marketers, but intelligent software programs are taking over. These software programs take less time, are efficient and a lot cheaper.
Do want to know more about this software?

There is no automated adwords software that does the work for you. No matter what you still need a qualified person to set it up and maintain. All software does it makes things easier for a qualified person.

I completely agree with this.

There's no way that any automated software would be able to do the job.

You need to actively manage your Adwords campaign:

understand what outcomes you wish to achieve, for example, some corporate sites just want to attract potential BB clients to make them aware of their technology. If you are e-commerce you will want to be able to show a return on your investement i.e sales profit higher than the cost of advertising
research what keywords you wish to bid for and importantly consider how these map to your customers - will they bring real customers who will spend money or "wet Sunday afternoon in November window shoppers".
research what is the optimum max price to pay to attract visitors but without paying over the odds
manage campaign with good quality real time analysis of results using Google's tools to track and monitor outcomes.

Software will not provide the intellect to do this it may make the process easier. Your managers need to understand that this takes time and effort and should be considered as strategically as any other marketing campaign.

This is the only way you'll get real results.

Haha, like hell there is a product that can do that better than a human. I'll Pepsi Challenge a machine like that anytime. LOL, it's like the "Trade Forex while you sleep" scam.
