Actually I have heard of this and often wondered how much you would get for a head of hair, I have seen real hair wigs for sale and I saw an episode of king of queens where Carrie cut all her hair off and sold it to pay for a holiday and I thought yes good idea, I would do that, but noone ever offered me money for my hair and I dont know where to sell it. you're right, though. people do sell their hair for natural wigs and there should be a clearing house for these transactions.

There was a programme about it on the TV, the other evening. A colleague said she had seen it and they were paid 50p per head of hair. This is in third world countries.
