Hi guys,
I'm looking for directory software (or website software) that sends out email notifications to clients when certain criteria are met. Lets say a customer is looking to buy some red flowers for no more than $50.00 within a distance of 50 kilometre within their area (this could be worked out with their postcode). The potential customer puts this info in the search field.
The site will have a list of suppliers who can meet this criteria based on their initial setup (the suppliers would specify the area they service, their products (eg. red roses),etc). The directory software would then work out who to send an email notification based on these criteria and send all who qualified an email with what the customer wants.
I have seen similar software in my industry (weddings) when (for example) a customer wants info on limousines in their state, all the suppliers get an email with the customers details. They can then send them info on their business.
The software doesn't necessarily have to be free, but should be configurable and ideally have a good support system or community, I don't want to end up with a site that is technically above my skills, so its always good to be able to pay for tech support. I hope this all makes sense :)
Any recommmendations would be gladly appreciated.

That means you require customer's contact information before they can initiate a search? How do you prevent false notifications when the user searched for something and later revised his/her query. You can probably post on marketplace in this forum or search for a programmer in freelancer websites.
