My area is content writing, and I'm new to the building end. I hope I am sharing this in the right spot and that it's a good find that will help.

Someone left a message and link on my blog. Those are usually spam, but I do check.

Wowzio (which is still listed in beta) has widgets that rotate your blog pictures with the titles (and linked) plus a visitor log widget showing the country and then teaser links. These are all different little widgets, and you can use just one you like or all of them. Can also put more than one blog in the rotation.

The widgets even resize to fit your sidebar, so they are super simple. Just copy the code, and there you go. But, they can be customized it says, so advanced folks like ya'll may be able to do more with them than I can.

Normally I do not like any movement on my blog or web page, but these are not that flashy and the movement is slower. I don't find the widgets distracting.

These are free widgets, so I thought folks might want to check them out and see what they're like.

I did add the photo rotate to my blog and also the visitor list box. I like them.

Here is the link they put on my blog comment section. It does have my blog info in there to give you an idea as to what these look like or you could see them on my blog if you wanted to. Also I'm sure you can put in your blog URL and see your own blog boxes.

Most folks here may build their own stuff, but maybe some newer folks (like me) would benefit from these easy widgets. I break a sweat just thinking about trying to build something like this.

If the widgets are not a good idea on my blog, do let me know. I've not been one to get very fancy. I just thought these were nice and decided I'd share in case someone else might be interested.

And, no, I'm not connected in any way to the company. You can check my stuff online and see that I'm an individual writer with no ties other than writing for a few sites and then trying to do some of my own now.
