So my company received a very favorable review on a well known blog.
Currently this review is ranking on the first page for my primary keyword.
I would like to promote this review. Beyond the standard link building..
is there anything else I can do to convince google that this is an
authoritative source and deserves to stay on the first page?
Thanks,
Mike
Bookmark it with social bookmark sites and explain on how interesting it is. If people like it, it would have some nice votes and comments and surely, google will give some great consideration for it.

my bolding, what is the standard linkbuilding? the answer is yes, go beyond the standard, build some really good links at it. social bookmarking may help, but make sure theyre not nofollowed.
if you have forum accounts how about switching a few hundred forum sigs at it with the keyword anchor? blog about it yourself linking at the post from within your blog? get your friends to do the same? links are the key.

You can easily bookmark you post into several of the best services at once by using OnlyWire (onlywire.com). Also Recommend Us (recd.us) is good for bookmarking.
If you kevsta's advice and place your link in forum signatures, make sure you don't use DigitalPoint. Many SEO's have been taking notice that DP is no longer passing real juice and in most cases linking to and from are penalized. Stick with the smaller webmaster forums if you're using a signature to promote links.
Another thing you can do is create a HubPage or a Squidoo lens as a "press release" page for your company.
Furthermore, you can create a press release with a link to the article. It might cost you $25-$50 depending on the service you choose but press releases are a great way to pass juice to a url.

Hi Mike,
I am not quite sure what you mean by "standard link building" but my advice is same as others... don't underestimate link building. In fact you have an opportunity on this site to add the link to a signature line, easily through the User Control Panel. Use your keyword phrase as the link and add your URL. This is only a start of course but if you want a strategy then you will need to attend to the details. The added benefit is many people from this site alone will be interested enough to check out your review and learn about your company.
Do you have your own website? How does it place in Google SERP for your keywords? Your Home page may be a very good opportunity to also plug the review and add a link. Also, if you have a website, you may as well add it to the signature lines and other link building and kill 2 cats with one tire.

You didn't mention the "subject" of your website. Try blogging or marketing on "related" forums and social sites. That way you get more links as well as traffic that "may" convert.
Thank you

Yes, I highly recommend digging the page/site as much as you can.

You might consider offering up the rss feed to it if it is set up. If it's a good enough articles others might pick it up to use on their sites.... this should help a little with poplarity.

You might also try submitting it to a blog carnival or two if there is a related one.

I would suggest submit this review in top social media sites like Digg, propeller & Delicious. Also if possible write about this review on any of your blog you have
