Hello everyone, I am looking forward to hearing from anyone that can offer thorough, positive feedback to my situation here. I have been using a keyword tool on seobook.com, which I have found to be a great keyword phrase tool, as I love the way it breaks down the forecasted traffic. I just recently decided to re-brand my web site, and target local marketing terms to try and get even a hint of business coming in through the web =) I rank in the top 5 of Google for many of these terms that all listed on the tool's average daily search volumes of 15-45, and I have top placements for many, many of these words, but yet, according to Google analytics, I don't seem to be getting much traffic at all, maybe 2-3 visitors through search engines per week, but that's about it.

For example, in the report you will find I rank #2 on Google for one word which the tool says should get 30 searches per day on Google & I rank #2 on Google for another term which should get 8 searches per day on Google. I know that's not a lot of traffic, however I have only received 5 visitors in 25 days through the search engines according to Google's analytics, regardless of the fact that I have many top 5 placements.

I dont know where to start in my search for a solution, and was wondering if someone could drop a hint as to why the numbers don't seem to match up. Thanks in advance for any constructive help anyone can offer

It would help if you showed our readers the tool you are talking of.

Ok, i'm going to PM you some documentation and Analytics screenshots that you can review. Here is one quick example, the rest I'll send by PM.

internet marketing experts colorado - tool says estimated daily traffic/searches of 44 (31 specifically on Google). I rank #1 for that phrase, and have held #1-#2 for over a month. I have not received one visitor for that phrase.
