Got Effective Article Submission Tips?

So I have been submitting my articles to the major article directories, I think I have a pretty good tactic, but I still haven't seen any traffic from it. Is article submission the way to go, or have you guys found something else out to generate traffic?

i tried article submission before it didnot give me any traffic at all.it is goo for backlinks and get your site indexed fast.try submitting to social networks sites like digg it really give some traffic.

Try submitting to good web directories that accept articles too.

Article submission always gives you some feed back..Just focus on good and unique content for article..Its not only bring you traffic but also helps in link building

Can you explain us here what do you mean with social bookmarking? What is your concept behind that? How do you do that?

to be honest not all social bookmarking sites do well ,we look for backlinks so we need dofollow site that can get our site indexed fast ,in my experience best ones that give us dofollow is digg and propeller they also been indexed fast ,about direct traffic from these sites it will be minimal unless your article gone viral.

Are you trying to tell us here that StumbleUpon is not doing well because they use nofollow? I hope not.

And can you tell us here since when does Digg dofollow links? Can you show us an example please?

digg dofollow links but recently it has some nofollow in some links use search status addon for firefox and u w be able to see which links are dofollow.i didnot mean that some site as su is useless but every day u hear from every one "submit to su and other social bookmarking sites and get tons of hits" this is not true for new blogs and sites you need a very attractive content to achieve that so in that case we concentrate on dofollow and get indexed fast social bookmarking site to gain some useful links,in the future after making alot of good content we then can rely on the viral effect of su and other,remember ewe have only 24 hours in the day we just concentrate on the most beneficial affairs.
