I am running an experiment in SEO with a new site. All pages outside of the index page are individual articles on just about any subject. Each one is very narrowly defined and "optimized" for very narrow niche search terms. All page, for now, are static and of the most simple HTML possible.
The prupose of doing things this way is to determine if there is a positive effect on SEO in keeping pages to bare bones HTML with content (text) well written and well optimized.
I can't pay for new articles but of course the articles can have reasonable, on topic, links to a site and the author will get full credit.
The only articles on the site right now are my own blithering so I certainly need more. The link is in my signature.
Again, this is an experiment in SEO.

Not a lot. If you would like to write a short article, let me know and I'll send you the email address to send it to. Anthing "non'adult" is OK.

A couple of links that are "in context" with the article are absolutely fine. Also, send me a link to use that will send visitors to your main site or to an "about the author" type of page.
Like I said, this is an experiment so I certainly want anyone writing articles to get some benefit from it and that is in the form of inbound links on the article page. So, write in such a way that your article keeps the readers interest and then makes them want to read more of what you have to say and will follow the links. Just try not to make it "ad copy" but more of an instructional article or "op ed".
If you follow the link in my sig, it will take your to the index page where I go against my own advice and place the email link there.

ctabuk, thank you for setting him straight. His response indicates a severe lack of attention to detail so even if I was paying for articles, I would not hire him.

How many articles would you want? No, really! I mean it! If you could publish articles with a back link to my site, I could let you have 10? 20? More? Any topics are available, book reviews, general news, health, education, green issues. construction, holidays, etc.
Just PM me!:)

Hate to say it but running an outdoors blog and an trying to be an seo off a subdomain for the outdoors site is not going to work.
Google first and foremost looks for a sites theme
You are presenting two different themes and as such leaving the search engine to make its best guess which given the main domain is about the outdoors will leave the seo subdomain to flounder.
You might want to immerse yourself in learning a bit more of the SEO part.....

a subdomain is treated as a new site, no relevance to the parent domain.
