Hi all,

One of our clients with sites in different countries is asking us to use this tool AdvancedWebRanking to make the positions report. It seems their SEO team in France is using it and he wants the SEO teams in other countries to adopt it as well. We downloaded the trial version and tried it, but it did not seem to work properly. When the number of searches or search engines is high, the computer would freeze. Has anybody tried this tool? Can you give me some feedback about your satisfaction with it? Some years ago we used WebPosition for the same job, but now we make our reports entirely by hand as we don't trust these tools in general. Thank you!!

We downloaded the trial version and tried it, but it did not seem to work properly. When the number of searches or search engines is high, the computer would freeze.

You are probably doing over 1,000 searches on the software, and it's freezing because it's been blocked by Google's server's for the day. You might need an "additional API Key".

Also, I am surprised they are still running on API keys. Google is stopping to give them out (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/006996.html), which means that you can't get any new API Keys.

What tools like WebPosition Pro and Agent Webranking do is space out their queries, so they don't exceed the max queries a day. (They may also use proxy IP's, I don't remember.)

If they are still running on API keys, you may want to check if your clients other SEO guys are having any issues, and maybe suggest that they switch over to one of the other tools.

Good advice doj. I use AWR for some clients with very large reports and have no issues. Fernimac let me know if you have specific issues.

Thank you both! Yes, I have a Google API. I will download the trial version once again and will try to adjust it better to check it again. If you use it that is a guarantee for me that it must be worth the time. Thank you again. I will let you know in case I run into trouble again.
