So...

Is everyone else drooling over the latest version of Photoshop? From what I have heard it will be ready to ship in November.

I cannot wait to see what Adobe has conjured up!
From the site:

Yay! I'll be upgrading for the text following path update alone! :)

Besides Web design I also do (primarily) digital media (DVD and CD-Rom) so the support of non-square pixels is HUGE. Also it's great that they threw in the NTSC action/title safe guides too. I always had to import that into whatever I was designing. I'm totally geeked!

Sounds like a desirable upgrade, too bad I still haven't learned all of PS 7 yet LOL

I've been a longtime user of Macromedia's Fireworks, which has had the text to path ability for quite a while. There's a company that always seems to be ahead of everyone else!

You can find some comprehensive info on it all in the English magazine ComputerArts or go to http://www.computerarts.co.uk

This is a great resource for any computer art questions and tools including tutorials in 2D, 3D and web design. The mag is not cheap but I have never been sorry for it.
