When we started http://www.hostpuppies.com we didn't really know what to call it. Someone said "Host them puppies" and the thought popped into my mind. So I wanted to design a logo that would be fun and comfortable. I originally went with an art design and realized that it looked a little "3rd grade". SO i re-designed it and made an attempt to commercialize it. Here it is let me know what you think. Thank you for your opinions.

Hello,
I like the puppy's face, it's funny, but I think that your logo has a more banner shape than a logo shape. Also I think that if you rescaled your logo to a smaller size, you will have a problem the slogan phrase.
Thanks

Ravenspyk:

I think it looks great and so does my partner who has been in graphics design for about 15 years.
Though the point posted by egtrix designs is not without merit. Where using the logo for the header of your webpage would be quite welcoming there may be issues when using it in other environments. For example: It is much too large for recip. links. I’m sure you get the idea.
If you could come up with a smaller icon/logo for your firm to use where needed.

If you have the time perhaps you could offer some assistance my way.

Where can one find a Quality E-Business hoster that has references???
I have found many firms claiming to “Have references” or making claims of “Being in business for X years”. That will not do, and the logic behind this statement goes without saying.

Our firm is actively seeking relocation and the hosting firm must have active references in product based e-business solutions.

Any suggestions, comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also any hosting firm that can meet these needs may contact me directly at bdavis@onlineartisan.com

On a side note: Any reviews for this site are welcomed . . . Site name: www.onlineartian.com

Thanking you in advance for your feedback regarding this request.

Sincerely,

I do agreed that the present image is much too large for a logo. The image I presnted is actually the title graphic from our web site. We made a small scaled version of "Dox" the little mascot, with a basic tag line, and even another with just Dox's pic. He is a funny little guy isn't he? LOL The fact that you guys are long time pros and I got that good of a review is humbling for me and exciting at the same time.

To respond to On Line Artisan: There are a lot of companies out there suggesting references, and placing so called "Testimonials" on their sites. One of the affiliates we do business with had a pre-made selection of them you could pick from and place on your site. Largely I think that there are a lot of smoke and mirrors on the web.

We are new in the business of hosting. We havent been in the business for x amount of years, and we aren't going to lie about it. And not telling stories isnt excatly getting us a huge amount of sign ups..lol. But; Hostpuppies.com is owned by our parent company Court Services Inc, which has been in business for over 10 years. Check out our web site at http://www.courtservices.org for more information. In my regular (offline) job I am a fugitive investigator. And top ranked in the US, as is our agency. SO I dont have time to sit around telling people a bunch of stories.

As for references, we host the courtservices.org site, and http://www.celesking.com both of which I also designed. We are a re-seller of Wildwest, which is the subsidiary of GoDaddy. Both of which are fully acredited e-commerce hosting companies. And we have wrapped our business model around their turn key program, which gives full re-branding rights, and access to their broad resources, such as 24 hr / 7 day a week support, and best of all their enormous buy power which keeps the prices down. Cause really it all comes down to who has the better mousetrap, an who will darn near give it away. We have had good, positive success with our program, and it makes us strong as a small company. SO if you're interested, we could help you with your hosting needs. And I am absolutely flattered that you would ask for my assistance in the graphic design. I appreciate that. You can find out more about our hosting plans at http://www.hostpuppies.com/hostinglanding.html We also have some reserve Cpanel plans as well.
