I Told my son once that I could count to ten in 100 languages - He said I could not.
I said OK
Dog; "Woof, woof, Woof, woof, Woof, woof, Woof, woof, Woof, woof. . ."
Cat ; "Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow,"
I could probably count to 4516 in Horse; raise and stamp hoof once, raise and stamp again, raise and stamp again, raise and stamp again, raise and stamp again, . . . No Bugger it . ,. Horse is a very hard language.

David once worked as a barman in a pub I frequented during the same period while I was living in London. I do recall the barmen but I was never able to pinpoint in my mind which one David was.
I do remember there was one very 'hip' guy. The sort you would expect get a lift to work each evening by some hot chick on a Vespa.http://www.vespaland.com/blog/uploaded_images/Vespa_Calendar_1970-777888.jpg
I was a bit more 'Hippy' my hair was longer than the Beatles, My girl wore a short red mini skirt with knee length black leather boots and fish net stockings with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth and we used the bus service. . I guess Me and David were not destined to make a friendship until 30 years later.
London was a fun town back then . . I expect it still is.

But, are they '60s Vespas?
Tubby
03-05-2010, 09:48 PM
Yes, Once the marketers understood that the girly girls did not like greasy chains, hot exhaust pipes, noisy machines. Cottoned on to the fact that girls liked to arrive at the venue without holes in their stockings or grease up to to the garters: Yet loved the freedom a bike gave, and the 'Mods' realised they could get the girly girls on to the back of these machines. . It was almost ' freedom' innovation , that coincided with the accepted use of 'the pill'. . .
Me and you were there Deepsand. We had it all - The sexual revolution, Old fellows like me still carry a residual smile that is testament to the 60's. .

memory a bit failed her MJ
"When was that? What pub? I lived there from 1978-83."
My recollection was the pub was shepherds Bush area. early seventies, It was one of those memories that gets Jogged (maybe 'Acton') You know the sort - someone says "The Red Lion on the High st" - and all of a sudden the memory is there.
I delete read emails daily MJ, I get to many of them I should relay store them somewhere, some people file old emails and can simply do a search. .
If the early threads on the old DavidCastle.org forum are still intact (new name now SEOsomething) there was several references to Davids Barman in London days. He might have mentioned a Sunbeam Talbot - but again that could have been a similar car.
My memory lacks specificity - The chances were I was not sure I knew what year it was at the time.
P.S. It might have been the same year that Southampton made it to the first division.

Yes, you are 100% correct! The money they collected from those who bought the tickets exceeded more than 10x or even 100x the prize money. No wonder casino or any of those gambling dens are making huge money.
I have heard a saying about casino: They are not afraid of you winning big money in casino but they are afraid if you DON'T come back and gamble.
As long as you keep coming back, the winner is the casino.

according to my incoming emails I win a lottery of some sort most days of the week. It is a shame really that I keep winning all of them when the rest of the world desperately seems to needs the money.
I would really love to win a Roast Chicken . . And have free delivery included. I would love to hear a knock on my front door . . . "MR Tubby! - You have just won a free roast chicken"

Pretty good shape except for my lower legs.
Before my dog died, he and I spent many hours in the evenings on walks of several miles each. And, once I'd the time for bicycling about 15 mi. to do grocery shopping. It's been about 8 years now since any of that, so my lower legs are sorely wanting for muscle tone owing to lack of sufficient exercise.
On the plus side, at 135-140 lb., I've not a lot of weight to move around.
The worst part was the awkwardness of trying to hold onto the various items that I could not leave behind in the car, so that I had to frequently stop, let my fingers un-cramp, and switch loads from one side to the other for a while.
If only the car had run but 10 more minutes.

It is always good to have a offline test server, test the forum in a sub folder or on a completely new server. When erverything function on the new server, it is a simple job to change the DNS to point to the new server.
There may be a problem with a replication of the last posts on the old server, but that could be solved too.

Bazi refers to one's personal birthdate - Day / Month / Year / Time of birth

I have 4 hosters. When one of my sites are fundamentally changed, I upload the new code to another hoster. When the code function there, I change the name servers at my registrar to point to my new server.
Regarding my forums that are constantly spammed, I have though of this solution. Keep identical code at two hosters. When a forum hacking has occured or many spam posts are posted, it can be faster to change the DNS server to the other host and delete the code at the first host, upload the code while you have a meal or a break. That can be faster than fixing the hack or deleting many posts.
