Hi All,
I m working on this site, which is a career counselling company based on Colorado. They want direct link from websites which have a PR of 2 and plus and their link shud reside on that page. They want no link exchange and i m confused how can i proceed with their one way link program.
Any idea or any suggestion for building their one way links with PR 0f 2+?
Any sites which accept one way link with asking for reciprocal links from the field of job search or career counselling?
Regards

You could write articles with a link built in. You could post to related forums with a link in your signature. You could post comments to blogs with a link in the signature. Granted 90% of those may not be on pr2+ pages, the rest could be and you can choose the content so they're related pages.

You could check out PayPerPost, if the client is willing to pay for inbound links. The bloggers there do quite a good job of creating a buzz and raising a bit of ranking.
(And yes, I'm a member, but not in the field you mentioned)

You can try submitting your web site to directories. Most of them accept one way links. However it can be a labor intensive work.

Why? PR has nothing to do when buying or acquiring quality links. I think some education to the client is needed here.

Hi Incrediblehelp and all!
I tried convincing the client bt to no avail. I do freelancing too and almost all d clients dat i meet there have just one requirement "link shud b on d page wid PR 2+" and some go beyond PR2+....
One such freelancing site is Custom Web Design and Programming. Freelance Programmers. Outsource Web Development Outsourcing (http://www.getafreelancer.com)
I really don understand who tells dem to ask for such requirements. It is nothing bt mere waste of time.
Thnx all , thnx for d help!
And yes, writing articles does not always place your link on the PR2+
I wish I cud tell him dat SEO is not MAGIC or VODOO.

Does WebProWorld have a forum to buy and sell links ? Maybe you could use that.

If your client is "uneducatable" you might want to consider how badly you want them as a client.
