PRESS RELEASE:

The Half Million Dollars Web2.0 Video

Imagine breaking apart a video into the smallest parts possible: frames. Now put each frame to sale for a very low price and a couple of minutes video becomes a half million dollars virtual property asset.

Where have we seen this before? The Million Dollar Homepage was selling the smallest possible pieces of space: pixels. This project, called Our TV Ad is selling the smallest possible pieces of time: frames.

Using the power of a crowd of frame buyers the project aims to raise enough money to broadcast the video on television and still help a start-up charity project.

For $39, the price of one frame, everyone can have their 15 minutes of fame. Well, it’s not really 15 minutes, but only 1/25 of a second. But still, YOU can be on TV.

Of course the risk no one will notice it when buying only one frame is substantial, since video will be made of thousands of different frames rapidly flickering. However, one frame can still make a difference when putting imagination to work…

To avoid extensive viewer’s eye fatigue, blocks of 15 and 30 consecutive seconds have been reserved. Due to the high price they reach, only big investors will be able to buy those blocks to run their commercials. Being side by side with homebrew frames will certain be very appellative to corporations after a young audience who is shifting TV for YouTube.

Frame buyers will also have a unique page showing their frame along with a complete description of the product they are promoting. Also, when showing online, clicking on the video will link to each buyer’s website.

Thanks for your wustions incrediblehelp.

My goal is to sell all frames and AFTER that broadcast the ad. It's on the site on the "rules" section.

I don't know which channel yet. It will cover all USA mainland, but it will not be prime time, that how much I can tell you now.

WOW!

Intriguing, but.. I am a US Patent Holder and have played in Industrial R&D for 25 years + and I have to comment here (http://www.cathealth.com/vomit.htm).

But I definitely wouldn't take my comment there to heart.

If there is a "market", it has to be pursued.

LOL - Everyone here knows that I am not "Socially Acceptable" anyway...

"Cuttin the Nuts"... If you feel it has room to play... Follow your Dreams.

What's up Ken! How is everything going with you?

To comment on this post, the million dollar home page was a success because of the advertising and support the guy had from companies like Yahoo.

Not one single other "million dollar home page" copy had the success that the original did.

Go for it! It sounds like a good idea, but realize without the help of a major online name it may be tough to say the least.

The million dollar web page was a bad idea but at least it was a new and different idea and that's why it succeeded. This small spin on the original idea is unlikely to go anywhere in my opinion.
