Software for restricting certain users from sending mails

Hello Everyone.

One of our clients wants to setup a dedicated server, but they want to, put a software for restricting certain users from sending mails to users outside the domain. But these users should be able to receive mails from any email id.

The reason behind this particular requirement is because certain users may be travelling and they wont be in the intranet .Otherwise we could have used an exchange server in the intranet.

Cpanel doesnot have such a feature. Can anyone suggest something that can be done here.

Set up your SMTP server to require authentication for users who aren't in the IP address range of your internal network. This way, random people who aren't from your company can't send mail, but people who are your employees can... Also, how to do this depends upon who makes your mail server.
