Hi,

I’m looking for a way to make my site more community oriented. So far I’ve added a forum (which I need to somehow jump start) and a for where visitors can submit gardening tips. What I’d like to do is have a section of my site where visitors can add their own articles or photo. Any suggestions on where to find that type of tool. I’d switch my site to Joomla or something but I don’t want to lose my rankings which are suddenly getting much better. Is there something I can add on to my site?

Thanks in advance,

The link to the forum is now in the menu. Should I start a bunch of topics myself? I was thinking of using different emails but it seems like that would be cheating.

There is nothing that says you can't simply put in mini-articles. These can be written to start conversations.

Posts generate posts. The big empty container does not inspire users to come up with stuff.

You can also invite members of other forums through PMs.

I always say the more you give or contribute online (meaning participating at other websites) the more you will get back (on your websites).

Great like the use of green on the website as it connotes the outside gardening feel. Also like the use of pictures especially the tree trunk down the right hand side of the page.

Hi riverbirch,

I actually checked your site and so as the forum. :)
I guess the first one posted on your forum was sort of a spammer. Posted nothing but 5 links (non sense off the topic links).....
Hope your Mod will notice that one...
