I've installed two blog programs on my new webhosting site -- Nucleus and Drupal. I've downloaded the documentation and even read it. I've read the FAQs on the appropriate websites. I'm not getting ANYwhere.

The first time that I pulled up the URL for:
http://www.mydomain.com/nucleus (or drupal) -- I got the opening template of the basic program. Since then I've logged in as adminstrator to each of them. Now all I get to is the administrator login page.

What have I not done?

I'm getting a 404 at the URL.

Does this mean you've given up or working on it?

Do you need a whole CMS or just a blog script?

What system are you on windows or Unix/Linux?

Thanks for taking a look at the issue. I have managed to get it up and running; I did an uninstall and reinstall -- and worked with configuration, etc. I'm at least "on track." The reason that you got the 404 was that I've deliberately not put an index.htm file in and have barred all search engines via robots.txt -- it can only be found if one knows the specific url . .the domain.com/drupal (not the domain listed in this forum profile)-- until I receive my severence package on my last day on March 17th, I really don't want it found by the management at EarthLink. If you're interested in giving me some advice, I'm more than willing to PM you.
