I have been looking at numerous web analytics software options the last few months and have run into a roadblock with my situation. Basically I have about 100 domains that I am looking to track with about 90% of those domain utilizing organic search. The number of domains will probably increase by 100 every 6 months. Currently my domains are on two VPS shared hosting servers.

What I have found is that all the analytics packages in hosted scenario have a fairly large per domain fee for tracking or a limited number of domains per plan, which with 100+ domains adds up quickly. Since the revenue per domain will probably be small with the organic search I can't justify the added expense. With the analytics software options which reside on the customers server, the one time cost is usually pretty substantial and that is a per server cost, which again starts to add up with multiple servers + costs on future upgrades and support. I also don't really want to have to take on the role of IT mgr and manage my own servers.

In short, I am trying to find a good analytics package that offers a lower cost plan to cover 100's of domains. I am not looking for free, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg either, there doesn't seem to be much in the middle. Let me know if anyone has come across anything for my situation. Thanks.

Tom

The best solution and for FREE: AWStats

Actually use awstats now on one of the servers that my domains are hosted on, its OK but looking for something that is a little more robust with integrated PPC and ROI. Trying to finding something that is also search engine independent (not google analytics, msn deepmetrix, ect) to give me a total view.

Have you looked or tried Click Tracks (http://www.clicktracks.com)?

Looked at clicktracks, like what they have to offer, but again the cost per domain in a hosted scenario ($40 set-up each) is not attractive when you have 100+ domains and growing. Hopefully they can offer me a discount on that but that is TBD.
