Hello, I am redesigning my web site. I have only been in business for about 6 months. I do not think my site or logo are serving their purpose very well. I will build a web site for anyone, but my target market is cattle rancher. Ranching is something I do as a hobby on the side and my soon-to-be bride and I know a fair amount about the subject. I need to redesign my sites appearance to more greatly appeal to the western community. I am not looking for something anything too western, more edgy/outdoors looking. I designed this logo and was wondering what you all think. Feel free to look at my site to see how everything looks right now. www.KerstonDesignTeam.com

This one has a drop shadow which I am not too sure about yet...

Man this has been up for like a week. Tons of ppl have looked but no comments. Should I be concerned? Is the logo that bad??? Anyway I did work some more on the logo and I aged the steer head a little bit. Please someone respond this time though, EVEN IF YOU HATE IT!

Hello Chris,
Your logo isn't bad at all, it has a nice unique look. But it falls the logo designing main rules. As for the size, think if your resized your logo to a smaller scale to suit your web site, how will the words look like?, the words will not be readable.
Second thing is that the shape is eye catching much more than the text, so who ever has a very first look at the logo, his eyes will not catch the name.
Also, real or semi real object (bones) are not likely to be used in a logo.
Thank you
