View Full Version : TV vs. Online Video
Will Online Video replace TV? I think it will be a while before it gets to that point, but can see the two being closely integrated in maybe the not too distant future.
Andy Beal looks (http://www.webpronews.com/blogtalk/blogtalk/wpn-58-20061128OnlineVideoWillNotBeatTV.html) at a BBC survey about the viewing habits of people when it comes to TV and online video. Not surprisingly, it looks as though TV is pretty safe for now.

I think one of the reasons why it hasn’t happened yet is that it will take the market share away from the advertisers who use the networks. I am not sure if they want that to happen. The ratings would drop dramatically.

I find still people prefer to watch the live content and their favourite program on TV as there are still good percentage of audience those prefer to watch a movie in theatre.

Even I myself, I preferred to watch on TV than the online one.
Of course etechsupp, movies in theater is still amazing as well as the atmosphere of cinema like you know others watching too and their reactions.
