Now I have written at length about PR blogging, how important it was to start a company blog and how important it was to engage the blogosphere.

But there are a few things to remember.

1. Bloggers are unpredictable.
2. Your product had better be good.
3. Don't make it look like you're trying buy coverage with swag.
4. Be honest and don't mislead the customer.

Sprint got its head handed to it after sending a phone with service enabled to a software blogger hoping he'd write about it.

And boy, did he ever write about it. Seven pages worth of how much he hated it.
