PageRank: Is this normal

One of my sites that I recently completed got a page rank of 5 within a week. What can this most likely be attributed too?

PageRank comes only from pages linking to your site so you got that TPR from inbound links.

A TPR of 5 can be the result of somthing as simple as a single link from a PR6 page with no other links out.

If you can give us the URL we can probably give you a better answer.
