For those of you who aren't familiar with SouthPark (http://www.southparkstudios.com/), they present a very satirical view of American Culture (or lack of) in a series of comedic episodes.[/url] They are always politically incorrect and very funny, often addressing current affairs.
They are at it again in an Emmy nominated episode that takes on Tom Cruise, Scientology and Hollywood. I catch myself singing R. Kelly's song from this episode all the time. Hee-larious.
I love the caption "THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE."
The creators (or more likely the writers) of this show are absolutely brilliant when it comes to arguing for a particular point by means of seemingly arguing the exact opposite. OK, that didn't make much sense - what I mean to say is, they point out how asinine the Church of Scientology really is while using the same language and points that someone intending to promote it would.
This was Parker and Stone's response to the episode's repeat being pulled:
"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!"
The most controversial episodes are easily my favorites. They use a similar presentational approach against John Edwards and psychic mediums in "The Biggest Douche in the Universe", and against Mormonism in "All About Mormons."

I was laughing so hard at this episode that I couldn't even get up from the floor:
Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride
Stan's got a new dog named Sparky and he believes his tough enough to fight. Instead of fighting, Sparky begins humping the other dog. The boys determine the dog is gay and try to change him and Sparky runs away. The town is excited about an upcoming football game against Middle Park, with Stan as their star quarterback they are sure to do well. However, Stan is missing the game as he has gone off in search of his missing dog and during his search he goes on an educational boat ride.

If memory serves correctly, I think that was one of the first five or 10 episodes...
