hey guys i just got a job for this company http://signdesigns.com they are a located near my college and i will be going there between classes to help them out with their web site
as you can see right now its in need of help BIG TIME! well i have made a basic layout here http://mxtracks.us/signdesigns i was wondering if i were to add a database that would have info about all the customers and it would have info on how far they are into the job stuff like that

how the hell would i do this?

tell me EVERYTHING!

Hi Master T,

The first thing you need to find out is if yous host supports databases and/or if it comes with the existing account.
And there are generally 2 kinds: MySQL(unix/Linux) and Access(Windows)

Then head on over to www.hotscripts.com
There's plenty of free and paid programs that may accomplish what you are looking to do

The server that hosts this site will determine what db you can use.

I never liked Access, if this is the route you plan to take go with Visual Foxpro. It is much more robust.

MySQL seems to be everywhere, it works really well on Linux. I am not thrilled with it on Windows.
