I am new here and just opened up an online children's clothing store. I am currently paying a company $52.00 to help me optimize my site and they say they pay yahoo to have the organic search for my website come up higher. I am new at this, so don't really know how it all works, but i'm learning. If someone could please take a look at my meta tags and tell me how they look and the site overall. I've done everything they have told me to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Since it is only $52.00 I wouldn't sweat it. Any additional work get a contact in writing otherwise it may ballon into a $5200 job.

You have a lot of javacript on your index page. Put it in an external .js file to increase your content to code ratio. Use wordtracker http://www.nichebot.com/wt/ to research your keywords and start a linkbuilding campaign by getting relevant links with your keywords in the anchor text.

I went to the markup validator site and I had all kinds of errors and it said I needed a doctype....I have no idea what any of that is....

your title and description are full of commas
it is better to remove them.
seperate javascript from your souce code using a seperate file.
