I just started working on this the other night. It's in it's rough draft stages and I only have about 10-15 minutes put into this so far. So, be kind. :-)

Hi parallelworlds,
Thanks for you request. I have a few suggestions for you:
1)Decrease the size of your visual so the design is more balanced. Currently it is far too left-heavy.
2)Take away any effect that does not add value to your design. A great design looks great with or without effects.
3)Your key visual element (the man with the walking stick) is very literal-to the point that it looks more a like illustration pasted above your logo. Simplify and integrate this man in a unique way to give your logo a unified feel.
If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.
