Ok... I've been around this forum for a few days now and I've seen alot of great logo's... So I guess it's time to find out what you all think about mine:D
Trendytimeshares.com is a secondary market place for owners of timeshare that got sucked into a timeshare presentation and were sold at full retail price. What I do is offer a free listing service for timeshare owners to list the weeks they own that they no longer want/need. And for buyers I offer the Highest quality fractional ownership at prices 50% less than what they would pay at a timeshare presentation. So it's a win/win for my sellers/buyers and the name trendy is because I also purchased a few other domain names but because a copyright lawyer told me I could not use the domain's .... this was about as close as I could legally get... Also I will not accept or list weeks that are not up to par with the rest of my inventory.
You all should be able to see my logo in my signature it doesn't look exactly like that on my site it's blended into the header (you'll have to look) http://www.trendytimeshares.comAnyways thanks for your opinions and I will reciprocate any reviews that I receive

Cheers,

I found the font used to be particularly difficult to read, especially given that it wraps around the globe the way that it does.

If the logo were by itself, not sure people would be able to determine the name of your business.

Hi Neo,

Thanks for your post. You sound very serious about your business, but unfortunately your logo, in my opinion, does not give you credibility you want. The text is difficult to read, and the fonttype inappropriate. The spinning globe is very cliche and says little about your business. A common logo says to a potential customer, "common business". Your logo is an excellent opportunity to integrate a unique graphic that reinforces (or defines!) your brand image and increase your memorability.

I hope this helps,

Grease

Thanks grease the input is very helpful... and I would love to be able to tweak the logo further it's just a matter of time at this point :)

When I made it I actually was at your website for Flame Design... I love the raised metal look on the dragon and I went out and got Ulead Photo impact XL to try to mimic that raised metal look.

The Font I used was Park Avenue... reason being I sell 5 star Gold Crown condo's... all over the world...hence the spinning globe...

I would love to have it redone professionally... I've just not gotten around to it yet...
Thanks again for taking the time to review my logo

Hi there!

Your business sounds pretty cool...

Unfortunately, your logo doesn't add any credibility. The wrap-around makes in virtually impossible to read the text. You selected a font NAMED park avenue, but it doesn't give you a park avenue EFFECT. Not to mention, I almost always find that animated logos give an amateurish effect.

Good luck in business! And getting professional help with your logo isn't as time consuming (or expensive) as it used to be.

I'm excited to see what you come up with.

Here is your logo content: "5 star gold crown condos". What else you add to the nonverbal overtones by design to give this content believability needs to be determined. This is the essence of Credibility Based Logo Design.
