My business will become less unique, and my market will become much more heavily competitive.

This is FANTASTIC for me, because it is actually what I want to happen.

But at the same time, I have to confess.. I want to stay in front!

My products are personal and societal freedom.

Welcome to WebProWorld! An intriguing site you have there... haven't quite figured it all out yet... which probably goes some way to answering your question!
I would make your site's message clear straight from Page One. The "About Us" link at the top opens a new browser window.. tsk.. tsk.. the accessibility police will come down on you hard! ;o)
Love the writing in the weblog, very personal thoughts, maybe that should be further to the back of your site?

One things for sure you'll get plenty of feedback and different perspectives here at WPW. I look forward to seeing you around the boards.

Paul,

Having recently put together the page design at http://supercivilisation.net/charts/level_5/internet_marketing_Promote.htm I am leaning towards smaller font and a 'webdirectory' look.

I will re-design the home page with that idea and create an obvious link/page for recurring visitors to easily access the weblog.
