Where to start??

I have 2 domain names that I am wanting to use. They are computersshopper.com and irelandwebsitedesign.com. I want to create a consumer advice and rating site for the first site and a meeting place for client and designer for the second. I want to approach these as professionally as possible. What I need to know is how to get the best out of them? Companies will not pay for their listings without traffic but traffic will not come with out the content the companies will provide in their listings! Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have your sites up and running, I would start by getting the word out via a Press Release. I use PRWeb (prweb.com) because it has a large distribution for a reasonable price. Their site also gives you information about how to write an effective press release.

There are other press release distributors, I'm sure, but I'm not familiar enough with the consumer market to suggest any others. You might try doing a search on your site topice +"press release distribution" to see if there is anyone offering more targeted distribution.
