Hello all, I've got a dilemma. My boss has brought a consultant in to tell us what we should do. This guy right away says we should be developing with ASP instead of Cold Fusion because, as he put it, "ASP talks directly to SQL server where CF doesn't. Microsoft made sure Cold Fusion wouldn't work as well as their own product."
What I need is unbiased information on the performance issues concerning these two technologies. I really appreciate your time
P.S. - In case this was not clear, the comparison is between Cold Fusion 5 and ASP 3.0. Not ASP.net.
