Are there some examples of good content generators?

OK can you elaborate flanok?

If you mean articles, (ie for newsletter or blog, theres goarticles.com which have articles about pretty much any subject you can think of. You just need to give them your email address and don't alter the content in any way (and whatever you do, do not touch the signature/link of the Author).

As for content for pages. Then I have to echo Golf Guy. Certainly don't copy from other sites, as they find out and can get you into serious bother.

If it helps, I am reading a great book at the moment about Copywriting for the Web. Its called "Hot Text" by Jonathon and Lisa Price. http://www.webwritingthatworks.com/CPRESS02.htm

Debbie: It isn't a book, but I think it's a topnotch source of ideas about how to word stuff effectively. So take a look at the (free) newsletter you can sign up for at http://www.grokdotcom.com/. Bryan Eisenberg is a recognized guru in this field and I've learned much from his monthly chitchats.
(And no, I'm not an affiliate. In fact, I don't think he has any.)
