My business went online the end of 1998. Right now customers must call in orders and credit card information. I have to add a shopping cart to survive. I can't afford to make huge changes to my site so I have to find reliable shopping cart that will work with an Access database, asp and FrontPage.
Thanks in advance,
Heidi

MY suggestion would be to use oscommerce or zen cart.
Both are FREE (open source) ecommerce shopping carts
and usually offered by website hosts (like me).
The advantage of using either of these is you can
add and maintain your products, pricing, and
customer databases easily. And do not need to know
any programing. You can use their default designs
or even purchase a template.

I would say oscommerce would not be the choice if you want to use frontpage - it is php driven and not very user friendly for modification if you do not know php and css - vwebworld points out you can get templates, which is true, however you will be changing the entire site going this route which doesn't address the fact you state about not changing it. If affordability is the issue in using a shopping cart you can generally get an oscommerce install done by your web host as vwebworld points out, or you can usually get someone to install and perform some basic modification or theme installations very cheaply.
The part of not needing to know programming is true if you use a premade template for oscommerce - or pay someone to modify it for you, but if you are going to attempt to modify anything that is not an add on module or pre-made template you are going to have a long course of study in PHP and the oscommerce system.
The other thing I would look at, if you want to go as cheap as possible, is to setup a paypal cart - you can do that pretty easy and keep your existing site in tact.
Oscommerce for sure uses PHP and I think zen cart is a modified oscommerce and uses PHP (I have never used zen cart to be honest).

Cactushop ASP shopping cart is the way to go. It uses a html 'skin' that you can edit in frontpage and can be used with access. Does cost a few hundred pounds but money well spent I say. http://www.cactushop.com/

Unfortunately I am learning lessons the hard and sometimes costly way so your help is appreciated.

Both Oscommerce and Zencart are php as is Cube Cart. ASP carts are few and far between. The Pay pal 'Buy' buttons are a great idea as you can keep your current html site as has been posted.
