Hello to all (again, LOL)

I tried this once before at http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?p=271576#271576 but I guess that my program really wasn't ready enough to comment on.

We finally have a link directory and partner program set up for the Home Decor, Furniture, Interior Design, Specialty Home Product Market, and I would like to hear any suggestions on making it better.

Our resource directory is open, and we are accepting link requests. There is also a section for Internet Resources that we have created for webmasters and website owners who offer anything related to the web.

Please visit at http://thecabinethardwarezone.com/resource and comment here on our model. Any suggestions would be helpfull. If you are intested in submitting a link, please feel free to fill out our form located at the website. Right now, we are looking for relevant link and affiliate exchanges, but we consider all submissions.

Thanks All.
Robert

I would ask the mod of this forum to go over my post for any discrepencies, or lack of information. Or am I just not paying attention to the forum rules?

It seems pretty difficult to at least get some comments about my program and what, if anything, I'm doing wrong, or how can I improve our affiliate/ link exchange program.

Is my subject that boring? Or am I completely without a clue? A little help from this community would be nice.

Thank You.

I took a look at your directory and it looks pretty good. A suggestion though, if you want folks to link to you, give them your link details so they can link first...like Title, URL, Description.

Your specifications for linking are also kind of intimidating, i.e. you want to hand pick those websites to link to, and they must be in the home improvement industry. Not a bad method, however, it would probably behoove you to go and get links from those you want to link to instead of waiting for them to come to your directory thinking they may spend a lot of time filling out the form and then be rejected. So, set up some guidelines for linkers.

Your site is currently PR0 and you really can't afford to be too picky about sites during this stage. Once you get PR, you can be a lot more picky. Your terms for linking can be much stricter as you get PR.

You may be better off starting with some Key Link Partners that you go out and get. Once you get PR, you will have lots of people wanting to link, then picking and choosing will be much easier.
