SEO for Message Boards

I have an Ikonboard and I'm wanting to make it search-engine friendly. It has giant URLs like http://www.gracecentered.com/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?s=f072cbca9f150f0d6f60fca84dfd1b61;a ct=SF;f=24

That and the fact that it is dynamic keep Google from caring. I'd much appreciate your suggestions on optimizing my board. Is it even possible?

I also have a PHPBB board I'd like to optimize at http://www.realchristiansingles.com/forums.php
