Kantner Design Logo

This is the new logo that I have designed for my business.

As you can see, we offer website design, marketing and graphic design. The target is primarily medium sized business. I want to convey professionalism, class, stability, reliability, etc.

I like the graphic very much, and the text works except for "Design". Too much is going on between the graphic and the font changes. I would change "Design" to the same font as "Kantner" but without the kerning. This way you still have contrast in the text without taking away focus from the graphic part of the logo. OR, write "Design" just like "Kantner" but in that reddish color or grey.

Thank you very much for your comments. I will work on another version using your suggestions. Here is a previous version of the logo that I realize now was much better.

I think sometimes you have to make some really crappy designs so you can appreciate that the first ones weren't so bad after all.
Keep the feedback coming, it's great to have lots of unbiased opinions.

I know what you mean. Logos are the hardest! I like the 2nd design too except it feels a little crowded: "Kantner" feels a little too bold to me. and I would remove the dot in the i of "design". Again, I really like the "KD" element.

Well, personally, i would like it best if you dropped the underline and brought Design up again to the same line as Kantner. I think you have a great stand-alone element with the KD and you don't need another graphic thing going in the name, just a memorable typeface, which you have.

Sorry to be such a pain, BUT...
I'd love to see the Kantner as it is, and the "Design" brought up next to it in the same font as Kantner but in the auburn color and no space in between the words

I think alomost everyone of your logos are brilliant... and i really liked the last one a lot... but what font type do you use (is it rondalo)? I'm asking becuase t try to make my own logo (it's not easy, though)

I believe the typeface is called Neuse. Although I never use a typeface as is, I always break it apart to tweak and modify. In fact, the scripty "design" thing is actually hand written.

We've got ourselves a winner here....
I really like the last logo too. It is slick, contemporary and right in your face. Grabs my attention without overpowering. I'd like to see it on a website or other promotional material.
