Matt Cutts has announced the release of Jagger2 on several DCs. I tried a test:
http://66.102.9.104/search?hl=de&q=wlan+tagungshotel
is worse than ever.
Look at the new #1 :
www . zugbruecke . de/Hotel_Urlaub_Wellness_Tischtennis_Tagungen/Tagungshotel.html
The Google SPAM detection algo does not only not catch this, but it is even #1!!
Let me cite Matt: "But that data center shows the direction that things will be moving in ..."
If this is the direction Google is heading to ...

Well, I we just got passed up by more free greeting card corporate link giants. But I do see that same javascript redirected page is beating us still with his little 2k page.
Just one question, where the f*ck are the improvements in relevancy in this Joker update? Oh well...just alittle bitter :P

Not my forum, good self edit, mod not needed. Actually that has cheered me up no end. I was just about to climb on the roof and jump off. Now I'll take a ladder up on to the roof, climb up that, then jump. It's driving me, oh why can't I type what I feel? NUTS

At a quick glance, I'm seeing my SERP's return to pre "downdate" levels at theses data centers...

Google's has taken a serious turn for the worse in regards to keyword association.
christmas cards - #11 (dropped 7 slots)
holiday cards #21 (was #1 & #2)
christmas holiday cards #1 (remained)
holiday christmas cards #2 (dropped only 1 slot)
OK...considering the keywords and association with disparity in ranking, makes Google newest algo a total relevancy joke. I might be able to make the argument that all of the site which are now top 10 on Christmas cards or Holiday cards are deserving, which I still believe for the most part is true. But the more serious issue becomes is why Google's algo cant make the distinction between the keywords with such a great disparity in the results shown. Google used to be very good at this. "Just Google it" has become what the $%^&*?
LOL
cards christmas #2 compared to christmas cards #11
cards holiday #2 compared to holiday cards #21
What a joke. Before this update, the top 10 was pretty much the same. IS that considered an improvement? I dont think so.

How about this "hosing"? Site launched and indexed during update:
www.precisioncompletion.com
Do a GOOGLE search for precisioncompletion.com and look at the cache - A PR7 and the wrong website!
Half of the listings are correct and the other half pertain to that other site.
Seems like everywhere I look there is disarray!
Have they just lost it completely?
Is it internal sabatoge?

Strange. The DC with Joker2 shows a new one
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=precisioncompletion.com
... so they updated the index there.

I tried the precisioncompletion.com link and notice that their search page blames the web site owner for the problem. They're a generous bunch.
Hmmm.

I had this happen not once, but TWICE with Google. Two domains that are stopped by my server are indexed by Google for a third site that isn't even related!
The Correct Site (Award Kitchen Refacers (http://www.awardkitchenrefacers.ca)
Incorrect Site #1 (http://www.ontariomantels.com)
Incorrect Site #2 (apparenlty since fixed) (http://www.ianellis.ca)
Now...
Google SERP for "Award Kitchen Refacers" (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Award+Kitchen+Refacers%22&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&rls=DVXA,DVXA:2005-04,DVXA:en&filter=0)
In Google's defense, apparently Yahoo! messed up and grabbed ianellis.ca the same way so I'm not totally sure if that was just a temporary hiccup. But NO one grabbed Ontario Mantels like that other than Google.
MSN...you guys are my new friend.

Compare it to this:

This here shows an old entry, the aforementioned link to the Joker2-infested DC
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=precisioncompletion.com
shows an updated entry
(note different IPs = different DCs)

Ok here is what scares the $hit out of me. Using the above DC 66.102.9.104 I am number 1 for nipple jewelry
On the main Googlizizzle site I am number 2.
No kidding, I am very frightened. How the heck will all this shake down if we are in the middle of Mick and the boy's Second world tour.
Waitress, bring me a freaking triple. Its noon somewhere.

ok now i see change in the http://66.102.9.104 datacenter. My company went from #4 for "orlando search engine optimization" to #15. I don't like that.

Nothing new here, but has everyone wondered why Google doesn't simply use the search results with quotes around your keywords? These are much more relevant and always produce a higher quality end user experience. I wish they would use them as a default.
I obviously know that quoting your search query means the text has to be appear on the page some where, but shouldn't that be a requirement anyways, LOL?

I have just given up on google after the update before joker 1&2 let me give you an example. You will just be getting over this silly algo change, getting a few good rankings and about 4 weeks before Christmas google will do another moronic algo change and screw every online retailers Xmas forcing them the adwords route if the want any web traffic to boost takings at the most hectic period. In days of old google was built from word of mouth. Now maybe the worm is turning. My vote goes with MSN at present

I dunno about that. I've noticed more and more use of it lately. One of my clients got affected by the "Adam Curse" of searching for something unrelated (tourism in a state I forget the name of) and turning up a website geared around the homosexual community.
I've got nothing at all against gay people; whatever they do that way is their business. But when I'm looking up the Danforth Bowl (an alley in the GTA) on Google, I don't want to be finding the Toronto Naked Men's Club (with moderate Safe Search on), just because they happened to hold some naked bowling event there. And it's not the first time I've had something like that happen. Enough already.

Well some use it and most are searchers that buy, which is good, but no where near the numbers of Google. I don't see how the world will suddenly change their opinions of Google, just because of this update. The lay person cant tell the differences of these results. In fact they may find them more useful depending on the query. They will find larger more trusted websites and companies, even though as we know their are better results out there that should be showing up.
Quality results will not make Google move down a couple of notches on the totem pole of search engines. Yahoo or MSN will have to somehow market themselves better than Google. MSN tried with an aggressive TV campaign, but that did little.

I recently changed my browser homepage to MSN. Now I enjoy easy access to lookup comparisons, using the GOOG toolbar at the same time.
IMO - They have a well presented, continually updated, with the latest news, weather and current events.
