What will my logs show if Google has been to my site?

It will be an entry similar this:
216.239.46.140 - - [19/Mar/2003:04:34:55 +0000] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.0" 404 645 "-" "googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)"
If you have access to your logs, just do a search for "googlebot" and you will find all occurences of it's visitations.
Most log analyzing software will report Google robot visits for you also.
