my old website, was a rock solid number four on google for the last year or so, it has a page rank of 7, and for the search engine sting "web design, sarasota, fl, I was page one, between 3 and 6 depending. Same for website design sarasota"

I'm no where to be found now as of october 20. I changed my domain registration from network solutions, who I'd been with for 3 years, to omnis. Network wanted $35 to re up, and omnis is $8, so I thought it was a no brainer. I haven't changed the site at all in six months, so keywords and content has remained the same. could this have done the damage?

If I go back to network solutions will it fix this? my registration was due as of November, and although the transfer went through, maybe going back will help....
www.louisekennedydesign.com is the site I'm talking about
thanks!

Looks like great PR7 website to me, you are suffering with the rest of us from the current google update, stick around as the ideas come in as to why all these sites dropped off the map.

thanks. so you're saying that it has nothing to do with my changing domain registrars?

I still see all my backward links and such, and my site is certainly indexed, I'm just not sure why I've lost my placement.

Can I do anything about this other than wait?

thank you!

I'm new to this forum, so thanks in advance

so you're saying that it has nothing to do with my changing domain registrars?

I don't think it is related, just coincidental.

I have, over the years, moved most of my clients from NS because they cost too much and have provided me with poor service. In addition to never taking ownership of a database foulup that took me 2 years to get completely fixed.

So every time someone's registration comes due, I ask them to move to godaddy.com with whom I've had very good and stable results. (Is it OK to say this? I don't know if it's OK to plug our favorite companies :-) )

I have not yet seen a drop out or decline from Google that was related to a change in registrar. Doesn't mean it can't happen - I just haven't seen it myself.
