Hi All,

do you think a certain search engine tends to get you better customers? or higher conversion rates?

I think with Yahoo I tend to get more serious, targetted customers than the ones from MSN and Google. Although I am using the same PPC and optimisation technique.

what about you? which Search Engine do you prefer? and why?

also is there a way to find out which type of visitors tend to use a certain engine? for example: the professionals? or a certain age group?

thanks,
Tania

To the last question No, I don't think any software will achieve that.

You could go to the marketing forum and ask me to take an overall view which can include PPC results versus Natural Search - I have a sticky there.

For one of my sites the break down is:

Average Dollar Amount Per Conversion:
1. MSN
2. Google
3. Yahoo - Distant 3rd

Number of Conversions
1. Google - Without question (Google = 2 * (MSN + Yahoo))
2. MSN
3. Yahoo - the difference between MSN and Yahoo is very slim
