I love the picture, it looks more like a header of banner to me though. I think you need to create something that will stick in peoples minds as distinctive to your business. We often hear the argument "is it a logo or a banner?" We all, us included fall prey to the fact that a banner is more splashy, more showy. How do we make our logos not look like banners?
It really is not an easy question, personally I think Midnight Lily has one of the nicest and simplest logos I have seen.
