can Someone help me out?

i am extremely knew to flash, but have been working hard at redesigning a basic html site in flash. I have finished everything except i cannot figure out how to take an existing web page and embed it within a flash movie. Basically i have a message board very similar to the one we are using right now, and i need to put this messageboard inside the flash movie. i have attached an image so you can see what i mean.

Unfortunately, you can't do that with Flash (I'm pretty certain you can't in MX 2004, though I use MX).

Flash only supports basic HTML tags which can be used for formatting text.

If you want to have the arrangement you have shown, you'll need to have separate Flash movies embedded in an HTML page and have your forum embedded separately. Flash can call PHP quite easily, so that opens things up for mixing Flash and HTML within a page.

Alternatively, if you could write or get hold of a Flash forum (they ARE available) you could then embed that more easily in a Flash movie.

Remember that at the end of the day, it is what the site looks like rather than how it was put together that is most important, so you could have a site that looks like your image - but just not put together the way you intended.

I have to ask why? Making your site totally flash based will put people off visiting it. I know that when I come across a site thats totally flash I leave it straight away unless I'm fter something particular. And with the recent problems of Microsoft getting sued over their use of embedded technologies, including Flash, support for it may even get removed from Internet Explorer.
