UK Local Business&Services Directory - Review needed !

This is my logo for townabout UK local directory. My ideas have run out on designing a logo that refers to searching (no magnifying glasses, a bit boring:-P What can I do to give it a more Searchy look ?

I think that the color scheme is great, butI think you need to take a more concern about the size. Maybe if the total logo takes a square shape instead of the rectangelar shape it will be much better. Also I think you need to put the shape in a frame to be more recognized.

I would make the words same size and take out the shadows.

Otherwise it's all good.
